Holnest Park Stud is a small exclusive stud farm situated in the heart of the beautiful Blackmore Vale in Dorset.
We have 13 large, well equipped foaling boxes with automatic drinkers and close circuit T.V.
There are 26 acres of well maintained grazing with post and rail fencing, covering equicushion and stocks for mare examination. We endeavour to look after your mare / foal as well as we do our own to a very high standard, with over 20 years of equine breeding experience and youngstock management.

Free covering fee for mares booked before March 31st 2009.

Our vets, Dorset Equine Services, specialise in Equine Genecology. Our experienced staff is on call 24 hours.
- Our fees are:
- Covering fee for Trenawin Lanikai = £300.00 SPECIAL OFFER!!
- Grass Keep fees = £10.00 per day
- Foaling fee: £200.00
- Mare/foal stabled: £150 .00 per week
- Mare stabled £100 per week
- Grooms fee: £20
- All subject to V.A.T.
We can also nurse your horse or pony back to health from lameness /surgery / other health problems.
Horse and Ponies taken in for nursing at £150 per week. (re–claimable by you from your equine insurance policy if referred from your vet)
Veterinary, farrier, medicial costs are not included in this price
Vet and Farriers’ fees are the responsibility of the owner. Owners are more than welcome to visit their horse at any time. Accommodation can be arranged if they wish to stay over.
Special requirements for your horse are welcomed and attended to. We are situated half a mile off the A352 from Sherborne towards Dorchester road.
If you have always wanted to breed a foal but do not have a mare we can find suitable ones for you for loan, lease or to buy.
